The season is finally hear and we are raring to go with a trick away trip to fellow EBAC Northern League Division One side Seaham Red Star in the FA Cup.
The FA Cup is a real money earner for teams at this level, getting to the first round proper would earn more than winning the FA Vase.
Nick Gray and Dave Malone have a full squad of 22 players to choose from the tie, the only absentee is David Hiftle who is suffering with a long-term injury.
It is possible the game will see the first run out for the new away shirts, and there could be competitive debuts for Paul Johnson, Liam Henderson, Matias Fondato, and Robert Provitt. Matthew Grieve could also feature after returning to the club from Ashington, while Paul Robinson and Damen Mullen will look to play after signing permanently from Blyth Spartans, having been dual signed last season.
