Morpeth Town can confirm Keith Graydon has taken on a Director of Football role at Craik Park.

The midfielder, who has also signed a dual registration with Newcastle Blue Star, will combine his new task at the Highwaymen with playing for Blue Star as well.

“I am over the moon with the Director of Football role. It’s something I have been looking at for a few years as I’m not getting any younger and I have loads of ideas. I will be working behind the scenes for Morpeth and will be busy.”

Graydon will feature for Blue Star in the Northern Alliance, a new venture which has peaked his interest.
“I need something local and they are an up and coming club, and close by,” continued Graydon.
“It’s a different challenge and something I will look forward to.”

The Highwaymen would like to wish Graydon all the best at Blue Star and look forward to working with him in his new capacity at the club.
