Morpeth Town may have sealed promotion with a 1-1 draw with Guisborough Town, but there was a sense of disappointment as The Highwaymen’s title aspirations took a blow.
Stephen Elliott opened the scoring for Morpeth on 52 minutes before Steven Roberts levelled matters 10 minutes from time.
Ben Sayer had a glorious chance to claim victory for his side but his last-gasp shot struck the inside of the post before bouncing out.
