Morpeth Town moved into the quarter-finals of the League Cup following a 4-1 win against Willington in the third round at Craik Park.
After being postponed twice previously, our third clash finally got the go-ahead and Morpeth made the most of it, Joe Walton netting twice and captain for the night Wayne Phillips registering for The Highwaymen before Mark Davison rounded off the scoring on a night where the home side showed their class. Jeffrey Smith scored what turned out to be a consolation for the visitors just before half-time.
