Morpeth Town will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 11 games as they face fourth placed Guisborough Town at the King George V Ground.

The Highwaymen have not played since Steven Anderson scored a 94th minute winner over Norton & Stockton Ancients 13 days ago, having being awarded their FA Vase tie against 1874 Northwich without playing.

Morpeth are currently unbeaten away from home in the league with seven wins and two draws from nine away matches.

Guisborough Town currently sit fourth in the EBAC Northern League Division One table but are coming off a mid-week extra time FA Vase defeat to Division Two side Team Northumbria.

Guisborough are currently 10th in the league form guide having won two, drawn three and lost one over the last six games. However, they have managed just four wins in their last 12 games, and Morpeth will be looking to capitalise on their shaky form.

Last Meeting – Morpeth Town 4-3 Guisborough Town – 18th April 2015

With the visitors pushing towards the title, Morpeth Town played spoilers in their last home game of the season taking a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Dan Taggart, Chris Jewels and Michael Hall. Danny Earl pulled one back from the penalty spot before half time.

The visitors scored direct from a corner early in the second half before Liam McPhillips completed the comeback. Unfortunately for the visitors, Jewels again popped up to regain the league for the Highwaymen, securing three points for the home side.
