Morpeth Town are looking to recruit media team volunteers for the new campaign.

As our exciting journey continues, we need those with a passion for football and a desire to be part of an ambitious semi-professional club to get in touch!

The club is enjoying the best period in its history, currently playing in the Pitching In NPL Premier Division while most recently enjoying long, historic runs in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.

With great stories to be told on the pitch, we also have a thriving new academy, as well as a blossoming off-field operation that includes a purpose built 3G facility and two multi-purpose function rooms.

With the potential to run one of our social accounts, and great on the job training and development as part of a supportive environment, we have an award-winning media team that seeks to do things a little differently in an effort to increase our reach and brand awareness.

“It is a great time to get involved with the club with a lot of exciting projects off the pitch coupled with some fantastic stories on it,” said Morpeth Town Media Manager Ross Jackson.

“We’ve got a great media team already in place but we’re always looking to grow and evolve what we do. After winning the last league media award, we’re determined to keep on expanding what we offer to our great supporters.

“Over the past few seasons, we’ve introduced our own online live commentary of games, ramped up our Instagram account as well as creating a new Tik Tok account that is proving hugely popular.

There are a variety of roles potentially available and training can be provided to those with a can do attitude and a desire to play their part so although experience is preferred it isn’t necessary:

  • Programme editor
  • Video editor
  • Social media content producer
  • Content writer
  • Graphic designer
