Attending our next home games as September’s club charity partner, The Percy Hedley Foundation are a cause well worth chipping in for.
Providing a wide range of services that support people with cerebral palsy, communication and sensory impairments, and complex learning and social care needs, Percy Hedley supports over 1,000 disabled children across the region.
They run two schools and a college among many other things, but rely on part funding from the NHS and local authorities, with charitable donations making a huge difference as they seek to find the £25million it costs to run the Foundation every year.
“We are delighted to be the chosen charity for Morpeth Town, and would like to thank the staff, players and fans for all their support,” said Maggie Bailey, bid and funding manager at the Foundation.
“It costs over £25m to support the care and education of our children and adults, but we rely heavily on charitable donations to ensure we can continue to provide the very best environment and every learning opportunity available.”
