Pre-season fixture list confirmed

Morpeth Town have seven pre-season fixtures currently confirmed ahead of the new campaign.

With government restrictions easing in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, non-league football at NPL Premier Division level has been given a start date of mid-September, with the FA Cup Preliminary Round getting underway on September 12^th.

As the green light was given for pre-season fixtures to start in August, plans have been put in place to get the squad match fit and ready for the start of a new campaign.

All seven games are away from Craik Park, starting with Northern League Hebburn Town on August 7^th. Our travels will see us take on Blyth Spartans, as well as Spennymoor Town among others, with a full list below:

Hebburn Town (A) – August 7^th (7.30pm)

Blyth Spartans (A) – August 11^th (7.30pm)

Stockton Town (A) – August 15^th (3pm)

Consett (A) – August 22^nd (3pm)

Shildon (A) – August 26^th (7.30pm)

Spennymoor Town (A) – August 29^th (3pm)

Dunston (A) – September 5^th (3pm)

Please note, at the time of writing, NO SUPPORTERS are allowed to attend due to government guidelines regarding the restart of non-league. Please do not travel to games and attempt to get entry.
